power begin their education with the wrong diagnosis. They look outward. They identify the institutions that constrain them, the gatekeepers who deny them, the systems that extract their labor and return them status on a controlled drip. They are correct that these forces exist. They are incorrect that these forces are the primary problem. The primary problem is internal. It was

installed before you were old enough to question it. What we call conditioning is not merely the absorption of rules. It is the absorption of an identity. A man who has been conditioned not simply to obey, but to experience obedience as virtue, cannot be liberated by information alone. He must first understand the architecture of what was done to him.

Only then can he begin to dismantle it. Nietzsche saw this in the nineteenth century and it drove him to the edge of his sanity. He wrote that the slave does not merely lack freedom. He loves his chains. He calls them morality. He calls them humility. He builds a philosophy around them and then recruits others into the same enclosure. This
