They are the crowd's questions, which means by the time the crowd is asking them, the men who matter have already moved past them. The power question is simpler and more brutal: When intelligence is no longer a scarce resource, what is? This is

Because for the entirety of human civilization, the architecture of power has rested on one foundational assumption: that superior cognitive capacity is rare, unevenly distributed, and therefore enormously valuable to whoever possesses it or can access it. Generals won wars because they could model complex systems faster than opponents. Financiers accumulated wealth because they could identify

arbitrage opportunities that others missed. Strategists built empires because they could see five moves ahead when everyone else was reacting to the present. These are all cognitive advantages. And every single one of them is being compressed. Not eliminated. Compressed.
